Happy Thanksgiving!

We spent this Thanksgiving with friends in our building. There is a community room in the bottom of our building and we all brought our food down and shared it in one big happy Thanksgiving feast!

Ethan was sleepy, but adorable, for his first Thanksgiving.

 Alison brought her dog Buddy with us and found a nice place for him to sit while she played with the other kids.

I can hardly believe it but I didn't take any pictures of Chris but he took a picture of me with the kids!

Peek Inside

I thought it would be fun to share some pictures of our apartment.

Our dining room. I love how the evening's natural light makes it look so pretty.

Alison and I like to color together. We made paper dolls. I made a mommy and brother doll while Alison made a big sister doll in red.

Everyone at Chris' work was giving cookies to the little kids, Alison really liked that.

Alison is wearing mommy's pink bracelet, I thought for sure she would lose it but she kept track of the too big bracelet the whole time!

There was so much food! So much that it wrapped around the corner ...

...and the deserts had to be in a different room!

Little brother slept most of the time but had his first real giggle! He was asleep when it happened but Rhonda and Chris' XO were there to hear it with me!

You can see the our apartment in this picture, the tiny balcony is the one off our bedroom, 5th floor (there are 9 floors)

The Big 29

Not the best picture but I was having a wonderful time even though I was a little sleep deprived lol. 

Chris took me out to a fancy Japanese restaurant where we met up with two of our friends. Another friend, Kayla, had offered to watch Alison. It was really nice having a nice almost adult night out.

The ladies in my building gave me a gift card to get a message and some chocolates!

I think I might live in the best building ever. 

It's hard to believe that this is the last year I will be in my 20s!

Looking back over the last 9 years a lot has changed. 

My most favorite things have been getting married at 22, graduating college, moving to California, having Alison at 26, and moving to Japan and having Ethan at 28. I have been living such a blessed life.

Happy Birthday Grandma Brown and my big brother Justin who share the same birthday as I do!
