Alison's Easter basket
Alison's Easter basket flanked between mommy and daddy's Easter baskets.
(actually all the baskets belong to Alison we just borrowed them! The little white one Boompa bought for Alison to carry at the egg hunt since her basket is a bit too big and the brown one is made out of cloth and normally holds Alison's fake fruit)
Alison and Boompa are ready to go!

Alison got a chocolate bunny, two music toys, two little books and a shapes wood puzzle
After dinner we gave Alison her very first chocolate bunny!
This is the most chocolate she has ever held and it took a minute for her to figure out what it was.
Little Peter Rabbit chocolate bunny looks scared!
Oh boy!
'I think I like this'
Alison really seemed to enjoy eating her bunny!
Alison managed to eat the ears and head of her hollow milk chocolate bunny.
I was pretty impressed especially since this was after eating a good dinner!
I feel so blessed to have spend this Easter with Chris, Alison, Nancy and my parents. Last year it was just Alison and I and although we had a good time on our own its always so wonderful to have family around. I really do wish we could live close to everyone! I have the most wonderful in-laws and the most wonderful family anyone could ask for! Not to mention I have a pretty great daughter and husband too!
I feel blessed that Jesus found us worth dying on the cross for and that through his sacrifice we have been saved. He has Risen! I wonder what it must have been like for the followers of Jesus who saw him crucified, who wept for him and then witnessed his Resurrection. I can only imagine that it was a very moving, exciting and powerful experience.
Happy Easter!
