My...What Big Blue Eyes You Have Alison

Alison likes to look right into the camera and get really close (so she can grab it!) but it does often result in very pretty pictures of her eyes!

Reading

Monkey watching

Alison checking out the pound puppy.
This little guy was one of my favorite stuffed animals when I was little.

We are still waiting to hear when the Home Depot people are going to come out and work on our kitchen. Hopefully soon, it would be great to have a nice new kitchen when Grandma and Grandpa Brown come to visit.

A Walk in the Balboa Park

Alison and I went to the park today. I was tired of being at the house and it was so pretty outside I couldn't resist! I also got Towers of Midnight in the mail today (its the 13th book in a book series I've been reading since I was in high school) There are only supposed to be 2 books left in the series. The first book came out 1990.
Alison and I spent a few hours at the park enjoying the weather, playing with toys and reading our books. Alison really likes to be outside (me too!). It also gave daddy a little free time at home as we were still at the park when he got home from work. He doesn't get the house to himself very often!

Alison was reading her book while mommy was reading her book!

Alison is so pretty in her hat! You can see some of Balboa park behind her. I almost always go to greens by the botanical garden. Its so pretty there, a little paradise.

Playing with her linking toys and watching people walk around the park
I love this picture :)

OH NO! I ran out of free memory!
I will post more pictures later...It seems I have reached my limit of free storage space (1 GB) luckily its only $5 a year to have 20 GB :) Unfortunately, I won't have my new memory space until tomorrow.

OK got more space! so here are a few more!

Baby Video

We do the Your Baby Can Read videos and Alison really likes them. I think they have really gotten her interested in words, I am not expecting her to read by age 2 or anything (although that would be really super!) But I am glad that she is interested.
Avidly watching her video

My Little Reader

Alison likes to read!

Yes, that's a giant bag of rice.
I asked Chris to pick up a bag of rice while he was out because we were out. I told him just a big bag of Jasmine rice would be fine...I was thinking maybe 5 pounds. I was very surprised when he brought home 50 pounds of rice. I guess when I said a 'big bag' of rice I should have been more specific!
I am going to have to go get a container to put it all in... probably a dog food container.
Ali's pants are off because its the middle of the day and its hot, but she sure has cute chubby legs!

Meow!

This morning was kind of chilly so Alison got to wear a warmer outfit. I think her pink leopard outfit is too cute!
Alison doesn't suck on pacifiers but she does like to play with them

the leopard baby prowls the playroom

Hello leopard baby

It got warmer later in the day so we changed.
Bottle!

I thought it might be fun to let Alison play in her pea pod (something different) She crawled in there and took a book with her!

Reading in her pea pod. I really like that she enjoys books.
